epic sunday in mid-april!
With only one week to go in the Rockies. We decided to sign out from work yesterday. Delirium Dive opened early and we were not late to go in there. Snowreport said 8 cm of fresh snow. But where we went, it was way more. We hiked the Galaxy ridge in the Dive and went down g5 entrance. Sketchy, a bit scary due to the no-fall-zone. But lots of fun. Boot/knee-deep pow. Great snow! Maybe the best snow in the world at the moment.
I have to admit that even tho skiing is great and I am living the dream at the moment. It will be good to come home again. But I will miss Canada. There's a weird mix of sadness and happiness I guess. Hard to explain. But Canada. I'll be back!
Pictures from an epic day in the snow!
Delirium steel pipe drop
Jake down the same cliff
Found a nice cliff next to waterfall in the Dive
Jake jumped it as well
Tom ski deep!!
Tom Horne, ladies and gentlemen!
Pillow!
Jake in hayes hill
Jake enjoys the deep (and fun) pow
Jake's flying!
There's probably not a lot of places in the world where you can find as good snow at the moment. just sayin'...
